Hello,
It would be nice if more features could be presented for resellers. Here are a few that I would like to see:
WHMCS Module:
Currently, resellers will have to point a domain to ReliableSite's server control panel for the clients to see information and such. It would be more convenient if a WHMCS module was created instead where information is relayed from an API to display information and statistics within the reseller's WHMCS setup. This will allow the client to log into our own WHMCS area and navigate everything inside without having to go to different websites and such.
If this isn't possible, it would be nice if the current given panel was more customizable. Although we are able to set the header and footer to include our own CSS template, certain codes aren't dependent on a class. For example, the login box code is:
<div style="padding-top: 110px; margin-top:100px; margin-bottom:100px; width: 450px; height: 240px; background-image: url('images/login-box.jpg'); background-repeat:no-repeat; font-family:'Trebuchet MS','Tahoma'; font-size: 18px; color: #494949">
As far as I know, we aren't able to edit that since the customization is within the div code and not using a <div class="login"> type coding, if that makes sense.
Provider Name:
I'm not sure if this is even possible, but if you currently look up an IP using some sort of IP information tool, it will show the provider such as "ReliableSite LLC" or "Choopa LLC" and such. It would be nice if we are able to somehow change that for whitelabeling purposes.
A representative (forgot who) also mentioned that RS will automatically SWIP IPs to customers so that our own information shows up before the end of 2014. Any news on this?
More Tools:
Would be much more convenient if somehow the dedicated control panel (dedicated.reliablesite.net) provided more server function commands such as allowing us to reinstall operating systems with a click of a button (instead of submitting a ticket each time) or a simple power on, off and restart button embedded without having to turn on the VPN and logging into IPMI. Overall, just the basic functions would be nice and convenient.
That's all I can think of right now. Hopefully some of these will be on the list of being added in the foreseeable future. Loving the service provided so far, so keep up the great work!
