Due to the recent severe weather, Hurricane Sandy, there have been major disruptions with network routing in the New York City area which may have effected connectivity to your server. All of our servers and our entire network is fully operational, both of our data centers are running on generator power without any issues.
Surrounding data centers and major carrier hubs have not been so fortunate and have experienced major flooding, which has caused generator failures and fuel contamination. Connectivity coming through 111 8th Ave through carriers such as Verizon, ATT, Sprint, and Level 3 may experience routing issues. Please note that all of these routing issues are off of our network and outside of our control. We have done everything in our power to route around any issues on our end, but until these carriers resolve their routing within the New York City area, there may be temporary accessibility issues for certain locations and routes.
We expect things to return to normal in the next 12 to 48 hours as our neighboring data centers are able to stabilize their operations.
